Fence netting is the perfect solution for creating a mobile enclosure to protect your animals in a simple and effective way. In addition, it helps to control outside predators that may be standing near your property and therefore deter them from coming.

The little extra? This installation is a cost-effective way to install the system because you don't need anything else than what is included in the kit.

We assure you that installing a net is child's play, you don't need to be a fence expert to install one! But how do you install this type of fence? We'll give you a few tips to make sure you succeed!

  1. The type of animals to be kept

First of all, define the need for this installation and which animals you wish to protect. This information will be used to determine the choice of your net.

For rabbits : This net has a tight mesh to prevent it from falling through. Generally 50 cm high, the bottom of the net is tightened every 5 cm to provide adequate guarding.

Tip: Position your net inclined inwards, this will prevent your rabbit from trying to jump over it ;)

For poultry : You have two choices: You have the option of electrifying or not. If you electrify it, it will keep predators away, as well as defining the terrain of your pen. This poultry net works in the same way as the rabbit net, it is tightened at the bottom to prevent your chickens from escaping. The height is approximately 105cm which will also deter them from trying to fly away, being too high for them.

  1. Define the area to be protected

By defining the area you wish to fence, you will know how many nets you will need to create your enclosure.

  1. Choosing the right stakes

Depending on your terrain, the stakes will not be the same. If your ground is flat and has good quality soil, single stakes are perfect. On the other hand, if your ground has a difficult soil with, for example, gravel or sand, double stakes are preferable as they will give you a better grip.

  1. The choice of the energiser

This is the most important part of your fence if you want to electrify it! Pay attention to the compatibility of the electrifier with the type of animal, as well as the number of nets integrated in your fence.

  1. step-by-step installation
  • - Prepare your soil before you start: Weed as much as possible as any weeds that come into contact with your fence will be wasted.
  • - Set the first post where you want to start your fence.
  • - Place your net on the ground, unroll it and prick the corners. Once the corners are in place, place the intermediate posts and tighten the net.
  • - After that, place your gate.
  • - Then reinforce the corners with posts so that the net is as tight as possible. Without this step, your net will not be taut enough and will fall down under the weight.
  • - Your fence is installed! All that remains is to install the energiser, including the earthing, and the interline cable to connect the energiser with the net.
  • - Remember to post a warning sign every 50m, to warn anyone passing by your property.
  1. How do I uninstall it?

Nothing could be easier. Place your pegs and net on the ground and roll them up together. And that's it!
