Alkaline batteries ensure maximum power for the duration of their use. All our batteries are "clean": 0% cadmium, 0% mercury. Advice: When shutting down a station, remove the battery or the battery from the station. For 9 V batteries, put adhesive tape on the holes located on the top of the battery, to avoid degradation of the battery during storage. For 12 V batteries, check and top up the fluid level if necessary, check the charge level and allow for recharging before restarting. Store the battery in a frost-free environment.
